Nuclear Sheep: Books and Movies Edition is a part of a larger collection of blogs and sites. In an effort to hold myself responsible in meeting my goals to become more book-and-movie knowledgeable, I’m going to sit here with you and talk about what I’m reading and watching.
You can visit my personal blog at http://sheeplance.wordpress.com and my big plans site at http://nuclearsheep.weebly.com . You can keep up with what I’m doing there and maybe ask yourself a few questions in the process.
My name is Jess. I’m an on-vacation senior at Duke University (returning Fall 2013) majoring in English with a focus on creative writing after a long stint with humanitarian crises and genocides. I graduated high school from Interlochen Arts Academy in 2009 (major in creative writing), and attended 15 public schools in Texas and Arkansas before that.
I am married to a U.S. Navy linguist, and he loves books as much as I do. As for the movies, well, I’m not such a big fan but I want to become more “cultured”. In my spare time, I catch the feral kittens behind my apartment, work as a seller for Global Spectrum, and pretend to do art. And write. A lot.
